Chiodos hit The HiFi in Brisbane for their first Australian tour in five years.

In between songs, Craig Owens made a considerable amount of chatter about how appreciative they were of Australian’s coming out to see their band, saying that they perceive Chiodos to be a small band and don’t expect to see so many faces watching in the crowd. Owens also mentioned that during or after their Singapore and Thailand shows, members of the band were unable to attend the Australian tour and they considered cancelling it, but didn’t. I felt like there was some uncertainty around those members’ futures in the band, but they had organised some great replacements and the show went on without a hitch.

Photos are below. Shot for The HiFi. Check out my favourite Chiodos record record, Bone Palace Ballet.
